Master of Laws (LL.M)

The Master of Laws (LL.M) programme is a postgraduate law degree qualification studied over one year. The programme is designed for law students who want to gain advanced expertise in law. In addition to completing the coursework, students will be required to write a thesis on a specialized field and demonstrate competence in legal research.


The programme includes the following modules:

  • Comparative Human Rights & Humanitarian Law
  • Administrative Law
  • Gender & Family Law
  • Principles of Civil Litigation
  • Law of the Sea
  • Refugee Law
  • Comparative Legal System
  • Intellectual Property

All students are required to produce a Dissertation, Portfolio and prepare for an Exhibition at the end of their Honours final year.
