BSS (Hons) in Sociology and Anthropology

The BSS (Hons) in Sociology & Anthropology programme is designed to provide students the knowledge and critical skills needed to understand our complex social norms, behavior and culture. Our curriculum provides students a foundation for understanding the community they live in, and equips them to participate in meaningful social change. The academic programme includes courses in a wide range of areas that encompass sociological and anthropological theory and methods, applied research training, community engagement, and critical analysis.

The students will be given the professional preparation to choose career in a variety of settings, from public service to development organizations to research and consultancy.
